Ever feel paralyzed when selecting thread colors for quilting? Learn how to select thread colors that will compliment your quilt top. The “right” choice is not always the safe choice. Quilting with contrasting thread can add a layer of visual interest to minimal quilts without compromising the overall simplicity of a design. In this class, students will learn about color theory and explore ways thread choice and stitch density change the appearance of fabric. Students will machine quilt a sample “swatch” using a pieced block they bring to class.

Supply list will be shared via email with participants.
